Karen is a CPHR with 15 years of experience working in oil & gas, cannabis, veterinary medicine, post-secondary education and telecommunications. She has a strong background in employee relations and HR advisory services but her more recent work has focused on the detailed and analytical work of compensation, policy review and process development. She loves finding more efficient ways to do work and creating workplaces that are more flexible and inclusive.

When not working, Karen enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and travelling with her husband, daughter and dog. She also has a passion for cooking and baking including making fresh bread and homemade pizza every week.
